Hillary is showing signs of fear about her recent slide in the polls. Only a few weeks ago, Hillary was showing a 33 point lead in key demographics. Current polls show a 3-way tie between Clinton, Edwards, and Obama. This massive slide has obviously made the Hillary campaign worried, as she has resorted to scripted question and answer sessions.
Muriel Gallo-Chasanoff, a sophomore from Grinnel College, Iowa, was given a question to ask, and then called upon specifically by Senator Clinton. The question, which was written specifically for a young college student, read "As a young person, I'm worried about the long-term effects of global warming. How does your plan combat climate change?".
Clinton's campaign has committed to ensuring that this kind of question planting does not happen again, but in this close of a race that might just be too little, too late.
