HUCKABEE FLIES HIGH IN IOWA

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee was the big winner in Iowa yesterday, giving a serious boost to his national campaign. Huckabee enjoyed a serious boost to his campaign in the past few weeks as his pro-small business, pro-morals message found resonance among Iowa Republicans.

Huckabee scored 34.34% of the caucus vote, followed by Mitt Romney at 25.27%, Fred Thompson at 13.39%, John McCain at 13.10%, Ron Paul at 9.98%, and Duncan Hunter at .44%. National GOP frontrunner Rudy Giuliani scored only 3.46% in Iowa, a caucus he had pretty much written off weeks ago.

Among the Democrats, Barack Hussein Obama took the #1 spot with 37.58%, a large lead over John Edwards with 29.75%. Hillary Clinton, the demagogic Democratic national frontrunner came in third closely behind Edwards with 29.47%. The only Democratic candidate worth a second look, Bill Richardson, scored only 2.11%, proving Democratic idiocy.

Next up is Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary where it’s still anybody’s game. Among GOP candidates Romney enjoys a commanding lead in the polls followed by McCain and Giuliani. Currently Huckabee rates only the single digits there. On the flip side Socialist/Democrat Hillary Clinton is expected to do much better in New Hampshire than she did in Iowa.

For at least the past three elections, both Iowa and New Hampshire have selected the eventual GOP and Democratic Party nominees.
