During a taping of the Ellen DeGeneres show on Tuesday Jenna Bush called her parents to the delight of the show’s host and the studio audience.
When DeGeneres asked the 26-year-old if it was hard for her to call home and talk to her dad anytime she said no, to which DeGeneres playfully asked her to prove it. When Jenna nervously called home, she told DeGeneres, “They’re going to kill me… I’m going to be in so much trouble.”
After briefly speaking with First Lady Laura Bush, the president came on the line and said good-humoredly, “How’s my little girl doing?” DeGeneres joked that now Jenna was not going to get any Christmas presents.
In commenting on the show, Dennis Miller stated on Fox News how episodes such as these blow apart the Left’s attempts to paint Bush as evil incarnate. Miller went on to say that he was “enamored” of Bush, that he was unlike any politician in America today, and that his eyes were always on the big picture instead playing to the crowd that was right in front of him.
The world needs more Dennis Millers.
