MOORE & GOEBBELS, PEAS IN A POD

Michael Moore and Joseph Goebbels

Michael Moore is the spiritual heir of Joseph Goebbels. Let’s think about this. Goebbels supported the Nuremberg Laws of 1935, which among other things deprived German Jews of the right to own firearms. In his film Bowling for Columbine Moore calls for tough gun control laws in America, taking guns out of the hands of law abiding Americans. Goebbels used his talent for showmanship to make mass murderer and warmonger Adolf Hitler look like a wise and benevolent leader.

BROWNBACK BOWS OUT

Sam Brownback

Sam Brownback pulled out of the US Presidential race last week, leaving a healthy crop of nine Republican candidates still out there. While Brownback’s conservative credentials, tough pro-life stance, commitment to tax reform, and push for the US to help end the genocide in Darfur made him a favorite at bloodredstate.com, we can’t say we’re not surprised. Brownback’s appeal never reached far beyond his native Kansas. In the August 11, 2007 Ames Iowa straw poll he only received 15.3% of the vote.

HILLARY CLINTON - SOCIALIST FOR PRESIDENT

Hillary Clinton communist flag.

Many of you are well enough off that the tax cuts may have helped you. We’re saying that for America to get back on track, we’re probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We’re going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good,

—Hillary Clinton, San Francisco, June 28, 2004

AL GORE - INCONVENIENT IDIOT

Al Gore, bloated and happy.

For his masterpiece of fiction and brilliant self promotion former Vice-President and Clinton crony Al Gore won the Noble Peace Prize this week. Yes that’s right; Gore now holds the same high award as such world luminaries as Jimmy Carter and Yasser Arafat. Gore decided to donate his share of the $1.5 million to environmental charity. We here at bloodredstate.com hope that he will still be able to pay for power in his eco-unfriendly Tennessee mansion.
