WHY WE LOVE MITT ROMNEY
Submitted by ckc on Thu, 11/22/2007 - 04:37While we here at Bloodredstate.com would be happy with any of the Republican contenders for the White House, there does tend to be a certain bias here for the man we think is ultimately the most electable- Willard Mitt Romney.
Romney has a varied and impressive education. He attended Stanford University, Brigham Young University, and Harvard Law School and Business School. He was named a Baker Scholar at Harvard, an honor reserved for the top 5% of graduates.
FLORIDA TURNS RED AS DEM PLAN BACKFIRES
Submitted by jkoon on Tue, 11/20/2007 - 08:03A recent Mason-Dixon poll puts Rudy Guliani, Mitt Romney, and Fred Thompson ahead of Clinton in the key state of Florida. Democrats are boycotting campaigning in the state as a result of Florida's early Jan. 29th primary. This looks to spell disaster as every leading Republican is beating Every leading Democrat in what used to be considered a swing state.
HILLARY PLANTS QUESTIONS IN IOWA
Submitted by jkoon on Wed, 11/14/2007 - 07:38Hillary is showing signs of fear about her recent slide in the polls. Only a few weeks ago, Hillary was showing a 33 point lead in key demographics. Current polls show a 3-way tie between Clinton, Edwards, and Obama. This massive slide has obviously made the Hillary campaign worried, as she has resorted to scripted question and answer sessions.
'LAMBS' FAILS TO DRAW AUDIENCE
Submitted by ckc on Tue, 11/13/2007 - 23:57The Robert Redford/Meryl Streep/Tom Cruise film “Lions for Lambs” failed to break into the top three motion pictures opening last weekend. The film, a critical look at the war of terror, pulled in a paltry $6,702,434 over the weekend according to boxofficemojo.com. IMDB.com estimated that the film cost $35 million to make. The film was directed by the perennial environmental hypocrite Redford and was produced by Cruise’s United Artists studio- the first film released by the new production company.
EDWARDS BOOED DURING CONCERT
Submitted by ckc on Mon, 11/12/2007 - 17:51Democratic Presidential candidate John Edwards was booed Friday night during a surprise appearance in the middle of a John Mellencamp concert in Des Moines. Sean Hannity reported on his show today that the singer stopped in the middle of his song “Small Town” and introduced Edwards stating, “This guy’s from a small town and he just so happens to be running for president.”
FLAGS FALL AROUND HILLARY- SYMBOLIC
Submitted by ckc on Mon, 11/12/2007 - 16:31At the end of a press conference in Waterloo, Iowa, flags fell around Hillary Clinton. According to CNN.com several flags began dropping as the Democratic candidate wrapped up her remarks on Sunday. Staff quickly appeared on the stage to right the flags as Hillary apparently barked out orders and ‘authoritative’ advice like, “I think the bases are not weighted enough.”
American flags crashing around Hillary. This is appropriate. If Hillary becomes president America itself will crash down around her.

In October Iraq saw 369 attacks, half the number seen last year at this time and the lowest level of such incidents of violence in nearly two years. October marks the third consecutive month in which these attacks have fallen. Baghdad saw only 53 attacks in October, compared with over 200 in June.
OBAMA BLASTS MR. HILLARY
Submitted by ckc on Wed, 11/07/2007 - 00:38On Tuesday Barack Hussein Obama was critical of remarks made by Mr. Hillary Clinton. Clinton, speaking on Monday in Nevada, compared the recent treatment of Hillary by rival Democratic presidential hopefuls to the Swift Boat ads aimed at John Kerry in 2008 election.
THE RON PAUL REVOLUTION
Submitted by jkoon on Sat, 11/03/2007 - 14:23When thinking about the GOP primary candidates with large national followings, Ron Paul doesn't jump to mind. However this is rapidly changing, as one can't drive anywhere without seeing bumper stickers or signs for Ron Paul.
So get to know the man behind this massive internet following:
FIREWORKS AT DEBATE
Submitted by jkoon on Fri, 11/02/2007 - 03:25Hillary fell flat this week as her Clinton politics were brought into full light. Unable to take a stand on any issue, she showed her trademark ability to bob and weave past any substantive response. This gave the other debaters ample opportunity to remark on her lack of stance on such issues as driver's licenses for illegal immigrants, and releasing records from her days as First Lady. We at BloodRedState are hoping that Hillary's lead in primary polls continues and that she somehow gets the nomination.
